Well worth a visit whether you are staying in the hotel or not, well presented dishes and a very beautiful dining room with nice views across the golf course.
Excellent attentive staff and food was interesting and well thought out.

Firstly, we visit michelin star restaurants frequently, so are used to fine food.We both had the tasting menu and each course was superb. The setting is vey beautiful, it is a very posh and expensive country club. A lot of hollywood stars stay there due to its proximity with Pinewood Studios. The service was fantastic and the biggest surprise was that the wine list is very reasonable. Plenty of wines at £25 bracket and all very good. The total bill came to £230, for the tasting menu, a bottle of wine, service charge and a few pre dinner drinks. Yes expensive but in london this would have cost £400. It doesn't have a michelin star but i would take advantage of this because it will get one soon and the £85 tasting menu will be about £100 plus

For my son's 21st birthday I booked lunch at this Restaurant for four of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience and my son was given the benefit of a little extra special attention which was much appreciated.

France might have the best restaurants in the World, but with restaurants like "Humphry's" there hope for the uk, enjoyed the food, amazing mid course's,desserts to die for! the service was 5 star, but the added service charge let it down, why is it tipping with cash so out of fashion! if the service as in this case was really good leave a good tip, but don't have 12.5% slipped in on the bottom of the bill, mind if we had not enjoyed the wine so much we might have noticed, that aside, Chris Wheeler cooking is as good as it gets this side of the channel, worth another visit.

Returned to Stoke Park specifically for our anniversary dinner as we used the venue for our wedding in 2000. The front of house staff were particularly obliging and accommodating as I had inadvertently booked the San Marco restaurant in the Pavilion but really wanted to eat in the main house, and it was no trouble to move in to Humphrey's restaurant. The setting is truly wonderful and the evening was great.
All the staff in the restaurant gave exceptionally good service and were faultless. The food was scrumptious and came with lots of extra mini courses. The highish prices reflect the quality of the food and the service standards. It is a real treat to dine there once in a while and will look forward to our next visit.
