Coffee and light lunch in the bar. The Saracens caters, as you would expect, to the Beaconsfield crowd who shop at Waitrows and send their children to the very good local prep school. So lots of nice welcoming sofas, and at 11am plenty of room but still sufficient buzz.

The menu promises much and slightly under delivers; the seared tuna salad was a cooked-to-blandness fillet albeit atop a creative combination of leaves and fruit. The pizza Rusticana was very good with a thin crispy base.

Staff were all friendly and helpful, although slightly disorganised. The fact the the cutlery is provided DIY, in a manner reminiscent of a motorway service station, confused several customers that we noticed, and would be an easy thing to improve.

Will go back. So perhaps 3 stars was a bit harsh.

We had a wonderful time at the Royal Saracens Head on Christmas Day. Service was attentive but not intrusive, our food was very tasty, and the choice of quality wines was exceptional!

The setting is an old high street public house/inn, with a fairly modern, well maintained interior. Staff are friendly and aim to please.

We had a lovely time and will definitely return.

Didnt have the wine we ordered and very slow service. The meal lasted 3 1/2 hours! Food was good and plenty of it. The rare beef I ordered came well done! Surroundings are comfortable with a good atmosphere.

How wonderful after a long hard day to be greeted like a long lost friend and a highly valued customer!

This is a buzzy place full of the "just got off the train from London crowd" but always is cosy and feels fun!

Food is ok without flair but then again you don't come here for a michelin star experience. Its average gastropub food. The drinks are good and the staff really super. All you can ask for after a lousy day in the office!

I went with a group for a Christmas Dinner, and I was very pleasently suprised. The Restaurant is much bigger than you first think, so we had a nice quiet area to be as noisy as we liked. The staff, Nick, Rory and the others were fantastic. We were so lucky to have them. I would recommend this place and will definately be going again. The Bar staff were realy fast too. It is a great bar and restaurant with great service and great atmosphere. The food is top quality and for a great price. Thank you for a great night. See you soon.
