“Nice friendly cosy place to enjoy indian cuisane”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

What a nice surprise small cosy restaurant, polite and accomodating waiters the food was of a very high standard and at a good price. There to offer advice on food but not in your face high quality food and very tasty well worth a visit, why go to an alternative cheap harvester when the real thing is in amersham

“Have been consistently excellent. First class food and service!”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

We have driven from Gerrards Cross to Amersham ever since Spice Society opened about 15 years ago. We have tried every new Indian Restaurant in Gerrards Cross, Chalfont St Peter, Beaconsfield and Denham over the years, but we have found nowhere that comes anywhere close to the standards of the Spice Society. We have never been let down. Kamal and Anwar the co-owners are attentive and extremely polite. The restaurant is small but you don't sit elbow to elbow with other customers unlike some restaurants. The food is amazing and if you become regulars the staff remember exactly how you like your food. When they ask you for your order, don't hesitate to let them know if you want your meal a bit more spicy, or less spicy and they will remember for the next time. They really value their customers and treat everyone as an individual. All credit to them and their hard work. Only wish we could pick them up and transport them to Gerrards Cross!

“Tasty and efficient”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

Called in on Sunday evening on the off chance of eating; the restaurant was buzzing but they said come back in 15 mins and they would have a table. We did go back and they did have a table free. Drinks were ordered immediately and delivered very quickly. We had a couple of pappadoms and the pickle tray whilst we decided what to eat. The Karai chicken was excellent as was the naan bread. The bill was delivered quickly after being requested and was accurate. We were in and out within an hour which we wanted because we had friends to meet. We would definitely visit again.

“Better customer service at a mcdonalds drive through”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

Visit for first and last time.
cramped tables.
Main courses so sweet they should have been on the dessert menu.
Staff cleared plates while we were still eating even though we told them we hadn't finished.
When we complained we were told it was a language thing!!!!!! No its a politeness thing. They did take the drinks off the bill which as it was 4 cokes was more of an insult!

“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Though we would give this one a try as has previous good reviews. The restaurant from the outside looks really small and it tucked away along Whielden Street, but it is deceptive as the restaurant goes a long way back. The food and service were excellent and it was probably one of the best curries I have had in a while. The prices we also very reasonable. It worked out about £15 a head including drinks. Would highly recommend this place.
