“Linda - R & R Break”

Our 2 night stay exceeded expectations yet again.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the classes are varied and the food excellent. We are regular visitors to Henlow and have never been disapointed with the meals, but this time around we couldn't help noticing that the quality of course presentation at dinner was equivalent to a top London restaurant. The Champneys products are great value for money so a trip to the shop is always a must. The grounds are kept in great shape encouraging a long walk before lunch, that's if we had the time to fit it in after a session in the spa.
We love the relaxed atmosphere and will be back.

A most relaxing spa day. Excellent facilities - super pool etc. Luncheon was excellent, lots of variety of food and drink.
Plenty of classes to attend, Excellent gym.
Lots of locations to just sit and relax/chill out - my favourite is the conservatory.
Staff very helpful. Treatments/sunbeds/dance classes - something for everyone - and, if you have time, some lovely grounds to stroll through.
Cant wait to go yet again.

Room Tip: I have stayed in various rooms but my favourite was ground floor with the river view/patio doors

*The building looks amazing from outside but inside it is lacks any charm, is a mass or corridors & not luxurious at all. It's long overdue a redecorate.

*Felt like we were on a mass conveyor belt for our treatments (everyone sits in a waiting room waiting to be called for your treatments, which I didn't like) and everything was rushed and lacked individual care.

*Restaurant is a large canteen so we opted to eat at the local pub (The Crowne) which is a fabulous country pub.

*Just saw lots of old dears wondering around in their dressing gowns, so guessing that is their clientele

* On the upside the staff are friendly

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the weir which was a good view but very noisy with the rushing water. If...

2nd visit and voucher deal booked again - such good value.

Masses to do and fit in... I have always been with a friend but an ideal opportunity to go it alone, read or study for an exam as the chap in the next room did. Looking forward to our next visit.

My friend and I spent two night at Henlow. This is perhaps my 10th trip, my friends first. It never disappoints. There is so much to do you struggle to fit everything in, from the gym to dance classes, not to mention country walks in the fresh air. New this visit is the booking system for the classes so you need to do this early to guarantee a place, sadly the classes we wanted were full on the day of arrival but we got booked in for the next day easily. Then you can just relax in the jacuzzi and steam room or treat yourself to some pampering treatments. The food is delicious and hard to believe its healthy! I can't think of a better way to spend a weekend. Have already rebooked a day spa in April and two night break in September.

Room Tip: Get a room on the ground floor with doors that open onto your own patio. Bright and sunny with swing...

Booked in for an artofswimming course which was excellent. I liked the venue very much - the pool was lovely, the food was excellent - healthy and tasty, and service was friendly. I was able to go for a run in the lovely grounds, relax in the conservatory and take in a couple of classes as well.

Room Tip: I was too near to the exercise room - there are some rooms near the restaurant which are quiet
