We stayed here at the end of March for a friends wedding weekend. I cant remember the room number but was ground floor and had double french doors overlooking the grounds no nets/blind at the doors so no privacy without drawing curtains (maybe N016?) room was fine, bathroom was recently renovated, the door wouldnt shut let alone lock as the lock was fitted in the wrong place, it was a wet room which appeared nice but the shower was rubbish and the floor (slate tiles) was freezing (needed under floor heating). The worse thing was the air con unit located on the roof of the bathroom that woke us bothe mornings at about 7am!! so loud we thought a helecopter was landing outside. We did complain and the manager didnt know there was an air con unit there??! but said that our bar bill would be cancelled, whoopie it was about £20 ! not much compensation conidering we'd paid about £200+ for 2 nights.
The bride and groom stayed as well and they were given the wrong room! and the staff were flippent and quite honestly did not appear very experienced.
Breakfast was ok but they did seem to struggle with a largeish group of us (about 20).
Bride and groom had lunch next day there for family and said it was very poor.

Room Tip: avoid the room with the wet room on the end backing onto old stable block

My wife and I have just returned from a one night stay at this delightful Manor House close to Woburn. Every plus point added by other reviewers is true and more. The welcome is sincere and the up-grade is well worth asking, we were given the "garden suite" which opens out into their beautiful grounds. The bathroom includes a spa bath, shower etc and there is tea, coffee etc making facilities to enjoy when required. The table d'hote menu was very acceptable being part of this excellent package but then you could also venture into their tempting a la carte menu. The staff are friendly and helpful creating a good atmosphere in this exclusive residence. We will definitely be going again and taking friends. Jim & Sheila Clinkscales

Room Tip: Do not forget to request the possibility of an the freee upgrade, it was well worth it.

We have just returned from an anniversary celebration at Flitwick Manor. The staff were, without exception, attentive and professional without being intrusive. This created a relaxed and friendly environment.
Our room was very well furnished with towelling robes and slippers, thick towels and home-made biscuits in the welcome pack. A member of staff rang the room to check that we had everything we needed and there was even a large umbrella to shield us on our short walks to the main house. A comfortable bed and well-cooked breakfast completed a restful stay. Highly recommended!

Went for an afternoon tea this previous weekend with my wife after hearing that they had recently replaced the chef, must say that it was a vast improvement on what we previously endured a few months ago.

Positives ... at last straight sandwiches, great pastries and we had a shortbread that was to die for
Negatives ... none particularly, some of the front of house staff seem a little distant

Great to hear your feedback on our afternoon teas which are increasingly popular at the hotel. We have recently introduced a selection of 12 loose leaf afternoon teas and this has further enhanced the offering to our guests and has been very well received. We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel and please ask for me as I would be delighted to introduce myself and discuss fir hand any feedback you may have. Kind regards, Steven

Stayed at Flitwick Manor for two nights recently. Fabulous room, with a lovely little annex to sit & read in. The staff were friendly and could not do enough to help - although we did not eat there the food we saw looked great (and we are likely to go back just to try the food!). The 'bar' area was really a big lounge with comfy sofas & waitress service, perfect to round off a hectic day! Bliss!
