Excellent Premier Inn with a good Table Table Restaurant attached.
Get a room at the back and you hear no noise from the A5
All the Staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is very good
We stayed for 2 nights before Christmas as we were visiting relatives in the area and were extremely happy with our choice for both price and quality

We booked 2 rooms at the Premier Inn South and had a fab dinner at their adjoined Table Table restaurant. Their staff are second to none. Jessica, the receptionist, was excellent! Completely 5 star. The perfect welcome!

The room was larger than I'd expected, really comfy bed & pillows (with choice of hard/soft pillows) and impeccably clean throughout.

The service followed through into the Table Table restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Staff were so friendly, smiled (genuinely!) and they appeared to really enjoy their jobs.

We shared a mixed starter platter which was huge.... not complaining though as we finished the lot!! The mushrooms were fab and would have happily munched through a plate of them alone!

The chicken curry was amazing!!!! Im always relucant to order curry from anywhere other than my fave local Indian restaurant but this was really really good! Would happily order that every time. The wine was also very good with a decent choice.

Nothing was too much for the staff here and are a credit to Premier Inn and Table Table.

Overall excellent experience.

The room is the same as any other premier inn, clean, spacious and comfortable.
The pub didn't have much character, but the staff were extremely happy and friendly.
For a nights stopover, this will do for 9 out of 10 people.

I stayed for a night here and although everything was fine it is a completely bland and featureless place to stay. The room was (as expected) quite spartan, but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the adjacent pub was OK, but nothing special. It was all fit for purpose in the sense that if you need a bed for the night it's fine, but don't expect any frills and it is expensive for what it is, so if I had the choice (which I didn't unfortunately) I would stay somehwere with a bit more character

The room itself had been recently re-furbished. The TV was good. WI-FI was good, but you have to pay (only £3 but it still bugs me!)
Everthing was clean and tidy. However, the shower was so weak to make it almost useless, and there was no shower gel in the dispenser. Just details, but when you are stood in a weak shower, and discover this, it is annoying!
The receptionist was nice and helpful, however, £8 for breakfast is taking the Mick - if it was £5.00, I am sure more people would go for it. Instead, McDonalds got my business!!
I also feel that the room rate is too high.

This may be repititious as I am recommending another Premier Inn but rest assured I am an independent traveller who finds each Premier Inn such excellent value all round. Staying here does favour the traveller with their own transport and in our case using Luton Airport for the start of our holiday but it will equally satisfy the business our tourist market demand.
On arrival the room met the standard expected and we enjoyed an evening meal and then before departure breakfast in the nearby Horse and Jockey restaurant, with an extensive menu, attentive staff and pleasant surroundings. Probably the one area that could be improved is that the restaurant is external to the hotel and reached via a paved walkway (in under half a minute), but as it was late October and well lit, it is open to the elements and would benefit from some cover.
Finally regarding the airport in relation to the hotel, we use the long stay facilities at nearby Slip End easily reached from the hotel within in ten minutes, with regular transfers by bus all at reasonable rates.

Room Tip: Although the main A5 road passes close by and you are aware Luton airport is nearby there wasn't...

There were 12 of us staying here and it worked perfectly. to stay with three children in a family room for just £99 is really good value.Excluding our baby, that worked out at just over £12 each per night. AND this included a free breakfast for the children.

Tt was 'cosy' but the girls loved it, all being together and it was only for two nights, so we all enjoyed it.

Staff were very professional and friendly, our only problem was there was a malfunction with the electrics and so no hot water, but being fair, this can happen to anyone anywhere, and the hotel did their very best to get it repaired, though it did take a while. which meant we all went to our family party without showering, so we didn't make a lot of new friends!!!

Room Tip: ground floor if you have creaky knees like mine.
