“A 5 star dining experience”

Always a must night out when in Placer. 75 KM from home but always worth the trip. Linda and Marla treat you like family. Food is a culinary experience.

“Delicious and Beautiful”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

They were very friendly and accommodating to two vegetarians. The chevre and watermelon salad was awesome. The inside of the restaurant was nice and had a very tropical island atmosphere, but it was REALLY quite hot inside especially for eating the (delicious) entre which was butternut squash ravioli.

Must try the tamarind margaritas!

“"Delicioso"”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This is the pot at the end of the rainbow! If your lucky enough to have the chance to dine in this quaint beautiful restaurant on your visit to Xcalak. The menu changes and the choice for the evening is tough. Always a perfect meal. Drinks are pricey. The service is friendly and accommodating. A must on your visit to this sleepy little fishing village.

Nothing like dinner at the Leaky Palapa after a few days holed up in the seclusion of the Coral Garden Inn up North. That such a fine restaurant exists in sleepy Xcalak never ceases to amaze me. Always have to have a dinner or two here.
