We have eaten here 3 times so far...and are already planning to go back on this Wednesday night and taking friends with us. Does that tell you how good the food is? It should!
Mario the chef owner and his wife have brought to Valladolid a new restaurant now bearing a month old which serves "fusion European " dishes.
We have enjoyed his Belgium style meatballs, a pork dish with a to die for sauce, a perfectly cooked piece of beef tenderloin, a fish with sautéed cod with a lemon butter sauce enriched with an egg york....so good I asked for a spoon to eat every little bit of the sauce.
His wife makes pies....something you can not get in Valladolid as no one bakes. We have enjoyed a quiche for an appertizer, twice had her tarte tartan with vanilla ice cream...and her killer key lime pie. Also her pie crust is so light, flaky and delicious....I am tempted to just ask for some pie crust to eat.
Believe it or not...they also keep.several artisanal made hamburgers on the menu as well if you are looking for something for the kids...or the kid inside yourself.
Unfortunately, until they complete the lengthy and difficult process of applying for a liquor license...they can only offer soda pop, and fruit juices. However, they also make a really good cup of coffee to have with your desert.
Also since they are so new...no credit cards...only cash.
THIS YOUNG COUPLE DESERVE TO HAVE THEIR NEW RESTAURANT PROSPER AND TO BE ABLE TO BUILD A BASEOD STEADY CLIENTS AND TOURISTS WHO,ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HEAR ABOUT IT AND EAT THERE.
Lunch and dinner from 12 noon until the last customer leaves ...maybe after midnight.
