We stayed two nights in the middle of a road trip through the Yucatan and it was more than worth the (relatively high) price. Superb service from all of the hotel staff, very comfortable rooms and IDEALLY located in the absolute center of town. Free parking included was an extra perk for those with cars. Moreover the hotel itself is very picturesque and the attached restaurant was very good (although likewise pricey). It's worth eating there either in the morning or night just for the atmosphere around the courtyard, and worth discreetly wandering through even if you're just passing through (say that you are on the way to the hotel, which connects!).

The air conditioning in our room was a little bit sub-par but not uncomfortably so, and we wished there was a fridge since we traveled with some perishable snacks. The beds were very firm, which we liked but others may not.

Such a great place to start our holiday, after a long flight to Cancun, and drive from Cancun over bumpy roads, to arrive at this place was heaven! Situated at the main square, with its own restaurant and pool with the liveliness of this small town closeby. The staff is SO friendly, everyone smiles at you. You can't feel moody here. We had room 506 which is bigger than the other rooms.

Room Tip: The entrance is not at the main square but at the back

My wife & I left here last night after a couple of days staying with our 18 month old daughter. The air con was a fabulous relief although the hotel in general was great. The staff were friendly, particularly those in the restaurant. It was slightly annoying that we couldn't add the cost of couple of meals we had here to our room bill but that is only a small niggle in what was otherwise a pleasant trip. The baby towel sculpture left for us last night was a nice touch and a change from the usual swanlike offerings :-)

This hotel was a good value for my family of four. With two adults and two teen boys, we prefer to get two separate rooms when feasible. The cost of this hotel permitted us this luxury. The location was on the main square of Valladolid, so the location does not get any better. We enjoyed dining in the open air courtyard. They featured local dishes for a reasonable price. The rooms were comfortable with the possible exception of the air conditioning; they had only two settings: 1. off. 2. winter in the antarctic. Do not expect hotels in the Yucatan to provide useful tourist information such as maps of the local area. We were disappointed in this respect time after time.

Situated on the plaza centro, the hotel is close to everything. The rooms are small but quaint, and the hotel, a refurbished hacienda, is filled with old world charm and design. Affordable, clean and air conditioned, it is the best place to stay when visiting. The restaurant was excellent, with a traditional Mexican menu and wide selection of wines. best of all, unbelievably affordable. One of the great advantages of traveling of the tourist path, this place offers a top quality experience at a fraction of the cost you'd expect.

we arrived to Valladolid on a rainy afternoon. someone recommended a different hotel but at first look we undestood it's not the place to be. A very friendly policeman showed us this hotel. Without his directions we would have never guessed that this old building with nice restaurant in it was also a hotel. The receptionist was very helpfull and agreed after a short discussion to give us a "promotion price". The rooms are nice, not to big, comfortable beds and as usual in most of Yucatan hotels, the shower is old and problematic. In the morning we woke up from the sound of school bands practicing for the Mexican independence day.
In short a nice hotel, a litle overpriced to my taste, but in a great location looking over the main square of the "Centro Historico".

Right at one corner of the Valladolid, Yucatan main plaza, stands a very old XVII century house, built by the first Spanish settlers which nowadays is a Hotel and Restaurant. Rooms are clean, well lit and with the regular amenities: TV, AirCond, Telephone and even WiFi service. Now, if you would like to try Mayan food, this is the place. Priices are right and the menu shows several Spanish-Mayan fusion treats. This is a must to visit and very nice ops center to visit the area.
