Very nice and clean place. Right in the city center next to a beautiful park. Staff super friendly! The guy from the reception even invited me for a beer after arriving late. Excellent stay!

:-( AC was very loud.

We stayed here - two separate couples - in March. Valladolid is a Spanish Colonial city and from the street most places don't look especially attractive. The secret is behind the doors......Our hotel had a lush courtyard, small, but very inviting. The rooms were clean, furnished nicely and comfortable. I will say next time I don't want the room with a loft that has stairs to it - I hurt my hip so no more stairs, but otherwse very nice. Our night clerk at the hotel was WONDERFUL. We had a mixup on our planned excursion to Tunich Zazil cenote and he helped us out. It is a safe, clean, lovely place. Also, walk over to their sister hotel, Casa Marlene and delight in their beautiful courtyard and pasta tiles!

Room tip: I would suggest asking for a ground floor room.

A friend recommended Casa Tia Micha and we are so grateful because we absolutely loved staying there. We had a beautiful room (Sisal) and we enjoyed the tranquil garden and the copious and delicious breakfasts enormously (try the cafe de olla!). It is perfectly situated to enjoy the main plaza of Valladolid, but is pleasantly quiet. We would definitely plan on staying here on another trip to this beautiful city and will recommend it to all of our friends.

We looooooved Casa Tia Micha. We spent a couple nights there and enjoyed the warm hospitality (especially from Jesus). It was in a GREAT location for exploring Valladolid. Parking was easy -- right next door. The garden was stunning and the room was spotless. The room had a safe, AC, nice sheets and perfect pillows. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was so friendly to our children. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed for two nights in the Casa Tia Micha. The room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was a real treat on the patio.

The every member of the staff was helpful, from the maid we met when we arrived early to the nephew of Tia Micha that we met the last day.

Casa Tia Micha is only a half block from the town square and the sign is a bit small but inside it is a beautiful retreat from the noise of the city. It was originally a private home so it is not laid out like a modern hotel. Some rooms are on ground level while others are up a flight of stairs. If you find stairs a challenge book the lower level.

Room tip: I believe the larger rooms are upstairs. but all the rooms I saw were nice.
