“Pizza to die for!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

Cafe Italia is located in the beautiful Candelaria neighborhood just a few blocks of the main square. We sat outside in the lovely courtyard surrounded by locals enjoying great pizza and calzones on a Friday night out. The owner is incredibly nice and takes the time to chat with her patrons and offer suggestions. We ordered salad and a pizza. Or should I say one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Italians know their dough and this pizza and crust was to die for. We finished our meal with gelato. Great time. Great place.

“Perfect Pizza! Beautiful atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

We have been here a few times and it's one of our favourite places to go to in Valladolid! Wonderful location in Candelaria, nice interior, neat nooks to sit inside, and a wonderful garden area with a quaint water feature area and a beautiful carved Buddha statue. Love it!

Wonderful personalized service from the friendly owners. It's like coming to friends. Sit down and enjoy!

The Pizza is great and perfectly baked with toppings that offer something for everyone! They cater to your wishes and offer vegan versions of their Pizzas! I can only highly recommend this place! And it's been about time I am writing this review!

See you again very soon :)

“Cute location, very cordial service, good food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2012

Nice little restaurant. The owner's kid and the kid of the employees serve the food professionally and cordially. The pizza was good and it was prepared incredibly quickly! Pasta portions tend to be very small. Amazing ice cream!

Good choice for reasonably priced italian-style food. We would definitely go there again, but we wouldn't say it's the best Italian in Mexico.

“After a long bus ride from Merida, this place provided a homey atmosphere and wonderful food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012 via mobile

After eating a lot of tacos, panuchos and salbutes, Casa Italia provided a much needed respite. We had a few of the pastas on our first night and a calzone on our last night. Placed in front of a cute square in Valladolid, a romantic dinner for two was had. Owners Eugeno & Diana along with their charismatic daughter Corina will provide you with a lot of Mexican love along with great Italian food. Todos Excellente!

“Best pizza and gelato outside Italy!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2012

As soon as I walked in, I saw another table with a pizza which looked amazing. I knew we were onto a winner. Quick, friendly service delivered us a perfectly delicious Napolitana pizza, cold beers and a sensational nutella gelato (all for M$205). Good atmosphere on the candelaria square. Can't be beaten if you are looking for an alternative to Mexican food.
