“Nice music but food just okay...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2012

This restaurant is not worth it. The food is not that great with packaged chips and slow service. The only saving grace was the live music. It was great. It was a one man show and worth having some drinks and just enjoying the music otherwise forget it.

“Good food and a good atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012

The restaurant is in the main square on the corner of calle 41 and calle 42 next to the cathedral. The address on trip advisor is incorrect; the restaurant on calle 41a is the La Calzada. Las Campanas is a decent restaurant serving good quality Yucatan food at a very reasonable price. The restaurant is in a colonial building which has a certain character and charm. The service is good despite it being busy. Complimentary Tacos and dips were available; I would highly recommend eating here.

“Great Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2012

Very traditional restaurant. The high ceiling allowed the inside to keep pleasantly cool while outside was baking!
We popped in here while driving back from Chichen-Itza, the square has a traditional hispanic look about it, with a pretty park in the middle.
The service was quick and the food tasted great, with portions that were quite frankly brilliant. When we left after paying an extremely competive price we were completely sated.
I can not recommend this restaurant enough.

“Fun Valledollid”

Great location right in the center of town. Staff attentive and the food very good! We then went and walked the square and enjoyed our brief time in Vollidollod.

“Good value, predictably good food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2012

A lovely old airy room with double height ceiling and traditional Yucatan menu. Waiters are all friendly and easy going. Prices are very moderate and helpings are generous. Watch out for the ‘huevos’ dishes: you’ll get 3 eggs.
I love this simple but well presented cafe and its consistently good quality presentation and service.
