We spent a week in Majahual. Of all the places we stopped to eat, this is one of the few we stopped back a second time. Lovely people, great food. What else can you ask for? We highly recommend checking this place out!

Our group ate there twice during our stay. The owners have developed a charming atmosphere and serve excellent food. We could not have had a better dining experience and I could not recommend them enough. Please treat yourself and visit the travel in. You will not be disappointed

They are open at 5:30 for dinner. I had the stuffed pepper and the wife had the swarmi. Both meals were fantastic. Well worth the drive out. The meals with a beer and a pina colada came to 330mx.

We arrived at the 'Travel in' to stay for a night. Very nice to know is that this is not only a restaurant but a really really nice place to stay for a few nights. Other travelers recommended this place. We loved it! The accomodation is so beautifull and cosy. We could hear the sounds of animals in the mangrove and see the insects that light up while we were falling a sleep. The beach is a few steps away. Justa and Albert made us feel at home and we stayed for two nights because of the beautifull accomodation and the very very good food and the beach with a collection of found shells and litlle treasures. We also could borrow bikes to go to Mahahaul. There was snorkelgear and a kanoe as well. We liked everything about this place and recommend it highly.

Travel in, once again was an amazing culinary experience This was our 3rd visit to this quaint little restaurant just outside of the small town of Majahual. . We ate two nights in a row, with Albert, chef and owner greeting us with a friendly smile. First night we were pleasantly satisfied with HotPot, Fresh veggies, lean tasty meat & fish and delicious housemade sauces made this choice a winner. HotPot is a fun way to share a meal with friends, each having a role in the cooking process. Night two Albert made us one of his house specials, Moussaka. All of us left full, and satisfied. Albert takes great pride in his unique dishes and really cares about the little details that make the meal so special. We will definitely return again someday.
