The location is just about as perfect as can be and just the right distance from the water, the restaurant and activities. I hate to give this place a great review because I would love to keep it under wraps for just friends and family to enjoy, but know like any good spot, the word will get out and so will the magic. The reason I gave it a very good and not excellent is just because of few minor things that needed attention. The shower doors don't close all the way and the hot water ran out on our last day. But other than that, it is splendid. It is far away enough from the crowds at Akumal Bay, but close to Yal Ku which is within walking distance. The snorkeling was great and the surprises from turtles was amazing. I can't wait to go back.

Bearutiful condo, very clean and super close to everything you need without the bustle of the mainland. Very much like Hawaii, always a nice breeze but toasty during the day !
The condo manager was really helpful and the cleaning staff very thorough and friendly.
The condo has one large bedroom and another room with two double beds with an attached bathroom, watch the shower it will go from warm to hot to cold without warning, though there is room to get out of the line of fire : )
The pool was the perfect size, very nice and clean with a gondola to lay in there hammock. There is also a bathroom close to the pool and a BBQ which the Manager lit for us, we did most of our cooking there. The market downtown about a 10 minute walk, is to the right of the ice cream place in behind there, best produce I have ever seen and for a great price, pay in pesos if able. We bought all our vegies and fruit there and it fed all five of us for the week. We purchased meat from the stores though there is a lady who sells the best chicken ever in a little store to the left towards the town of the convenience store just before the colorful fence on the left ( you can't miss the fence) it is a light blue convenience store. We hung out at the Bueno Vida, they have swings at the bar and go early it is very busy and really fun. The best shopping is across from there, the ladies will haggle with you, unlike the other vendors who will give you a price and walk away.
I saved the best for last the snorkeling is phenomenol in this area, we snorkeled all day at Akumal beach, the sand is hard you may want to bring an extra towel to sit on and shade limited but who cares you will be in the water seeing all there is to see !! there were huge turtles, a cannon (very cool), lots of colorful fish and a barracuda just to name a few.
Then the best was we visited a cinote, you will need to take a taxi to it and it costs 5 pesos
only - Xu-Anaan - it is little known and you will most likely be the only ones there except some scuba divers, there are caves that go 25 miles towards the ocean that in this cinote, first of all it is so clear that you can see the bottom which looks to be at least 40 feet deep, there are lots of fish that aren't scared of you they swim always around you, the bottom is beautiful, it really was heaven, so great !! We also snorkeled in Tulum, which was incredibly windy, the sand is deep and not much to see unless you go very deep, then it was okay but murky in spots, also forewarned, there are no toilet seats on the toilets there, really gross bathroom ! it is a turtle sanctuary.
The snorkeling directly out of the condo was full of coral, where your aqua boots !!! lots to see if you go out a ways !
Great time, lastly, if you wish to have a great meal reserve or go to the Turtle Bay Cafe, amercian owned and the food is to die for !!!
