“Fishing trip”

Took a fishing trip with these guys last week and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. We caught a large white marlin and it was awesome

“A decent little place for vacation diving”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2012

This shop is almost literally a hole-in-the-wall PADI resort facility...you get to their storefront through a door cut in the seawall. It's pretty bare-bones...just one boat for 6-8 divers (and a similar second boat set up for sport fishing). Nevertheless divemaster Jose and boat captain Mario got things off to a timely start for a 9AM dive at Sponge Reef. You have to wade to the boat and there are no facilities on board but José and Mario will load your heavy gear for you. Josés dive briefing was concise but thorough and we did a back roll off the boat into the water.

Diving in the area is pretty good...turtles and rays are common along with fish both big and small. Viz the day I was out was 60-80 feet...the water is a bit rough this time of year and there was some bottom stirred up.

ADA doesn't have their own compressor so tanks are brought in from elsewhere...both of mine had a full 3000psi.
