This lagoon is such a relaxing and beautiful place to snorkel! It's especially great for beginners because there's not much current and the water isn't very deep, but there are still many beautiful creatures to see.

Took a tour with GoNatural and because it was so rough we couldn't swim with turtles in Akumal Bay we went to the Lagoon. Like to calmness of the Lagoon. You can shower afterwards and thy have changing rooms for the guests. Saw wonderful huge school of fish .

A long walk from Akumal (I'd recommend getting a taxi), good for a first try at snorkelling. Quite a lot of the same type of fish but a pleasant afternoon or morning out.

This large cenote is located at the end of the road that runs thru Akumal and is gorgeous. Beautiful statues are situated in the little garden, there are steps for easy access to the water, and it is just beautiful!

This lagoon is a perfect place to snorkel, there's no waves, the water is very clear and there's lots of colorful fishes.
