Can't say there was a dislike to this place. It is secluded and not overly populated, which was wonderful. It was like having our own private paradise. The snorkeling was amazing and yes there are sea turtles in there! There were no other small groups there until we were headed back in for the day.

We stopped here with our Edventure tour. We really enjoyed Yal-Ku Lagoon. Enjoyed an authentic Mexican lunch at the restauraunt. Lots of tropical fish to see. Great size of the lagoon. Would recommend a visit.

The water is super clear and the lagoon is big enough you could have a full half day swimmming around the whole thing. If you get a palapa you can pop in and out of the water aand have a nice place to keep your belongings, with tables and chairs and your own private hammock!

Our second time there. There is a fee, which just gets you entrance and a bathroom. There are steps built in to gain access to the water, but other than that you are stuck standing on rough rock. The conditions are highly variable. You are better off snorkeling off other beaches for free

This was a weird place. I wasn't sure how contaminated the water was. We saw some nice fish, and got in some great exercise, but it was just a little too campy for me.
