Excellent service with impeccable attention to detail. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a romantic experience!

The staff was really helpful when trying to decide where to shop, and what to eat. Utilize them for anything you need while you're staying in the area!

I enjoyed 3 days in Imanta as part of a relaxing weekend; the Resort is about 45 mins driving from Puerto Vallarta Airport, I suggest you rent a car and drive there, it's very easy and you will enjoy it.

The Hotel is part of a private property of 150 hectares , so from the entrance is about a 2 mile driving; once you arrive you will be taken to your suite , they get a copy of ID and CC and that's it, now the best part begins, They will bend over backwards to fullfill all desires, I wanted Tuna they got it for me eventhough the Season is over,
They wanted us to try the fish with beer sauce, (The Cook Eva even called me to explain how she makes the sauce!); they arranged a romantic dinner at the Observatory Bar along with a romantic setup at the room (Highly recommended, the view is magnificent)

Another important thing I loved about Imanta is that the prices for food and beverage are very reasonable for what you get and where you are, This is a very inteligent decision from them as I personally have never returned to a hotel when they took advantage of the isolation to overcharge for everything; not here.

In short, if you can do it, go!, you will not regret it, just be mindful (as another reviewer said), this hotel is not about manicured gardens and big buildings, it's about reconnecting with your travel companion and why not?, with Nature

Bravo Imanta!

I must first clarify that I didin't actually stayed there, but went there for two events! The place is like a dream from the moment you enter the place! You go like around a hill with a, well, jungle like view! Once you get there the place and view are magazine like spectacular! The service was immediate and very polite and friendly at the same time if that makes any sense lol! Anyway, I would say that it is a place to stay there once you get there because is so beautiful you are not going to want to go anywhere else!

I just got back from a 4 day stay at Imanta and I can not say enough great things about the place. The setting is amazing, it's right in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful, calm beach. The service was perfect, the food was great. This place is very special and definitely worth a visit.

Room Tip: We stayed in Tayau, which has a private pool and I definitely recommend it.

Punta Mita is easy to reach from Los Angeles and has quite a few luxury resorts to pick from. My husband and I visited Imanta back in October and fell in love. We just returned for a second time and I was so happy that it was just as wonderful as the first.

One note: when I see lists of top hotels in major magazines, I often notice Imanta's name is missing. This is because the property is so small and exclusive it could probably never get enough votes to be a "readers choice" in a major travel magazine. That's just fine-- this resort isn't for everyone. But if you're one of the people who understands it's special charms, it's hard to top.

Once again we were greeted with margaritas and fresh towels before being driven via golf cart to our Ocean Casa, called "werika." The casa is large and spacious- over 2,000 square feet.

A bucket of cold cerzeva and limes was waiting for us. There are only 7 rooms on the property and an impressively high staff-to-guest ration. I've stayed at the several luxury properties that claim to have "plunge pools" but this pool was actually large enough to swim in. The room also had a great balcony where we ate room service several times and large exotic bathroom with a tub built for two and his and hers sinks, and separate toilet and shower facilities. The closet is large and even has thoughtful touches like a beach bag you can use during your stay. Our luggage arrived at our room before we done drinking our welcoming margarita with the charming GM and his staff.

Imanta is not the sort of place to go if you want to meet someone- it's precisely where you go to getaway and reconnect with loved ones. In fact, we didn't see any other guests during our entire stay (although a family was coming up the day we left to considering having a destination wedding at the dream resort).

Imanta's private beach is sandy and has sea kayaks and a lifeguard at all times. The food is local and fresh and the chef will come to your casa to discuss the catch of the day. My food allergies and sensitivities were handled easily.

I'd recommend this resort for couples who want a private getaway but can't afford a private island. Part of the resort's charm is it's eco-luxness-- surrounded by jungle and mountains, it's not the highly manicured grounds that you'd find at the nearby St. Regis or Four Seasons, but t those properties are an entirely different kind of resort. Also, while staff will drive you anywhere on the property in a golf cart, part of the fun is hiking through the jungle on well marked rocky paths and might not be the best choice for young children or guests with mobility challenges.

Imanta is about reconnecting with yourself and your loved ones and nature in an amazing, tropical setting. I hope to return to this very special place again.

Room Tip: Rooms are priced based on their proximity to the ocean, and how many bedrooms they have. There are o...

WIth the dense jungle, fantastic service, and private pool and beach my wife and I felt as though we were on our own private island for our Honeymoon. We checked in on a Tuesday and didn't see another guest until Thursday afternoon!

From the minute we arrived (and were offered cucumber scented towelettes and hibiscus iced tea in the breath-taking 'recepción') the staff took care of everything we needed. The villa was gorgeous, the bed was extremely comfortable, the food was delicious, and the room service was perfect (at any time, day or night). The staff is very attentive, without being overbearing. They only appear when they are needed, but are never too far away.

Whether on the beach or poolside, a cold drink or snack is served quickly.

A quick trip to Sayulita is a great way to spend a day, should you want to explore paradise for a few hours.

Gracias a Maria, Miguel, Waipy, Benito, y el personal por una semana mágica.
