“Authenticity at it's finest!! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2014 via mobile

This is definitely a restaurant that has been the top word of mouth recommendation! Upon arriving you ring the doorbell to be let in, keep in mind this is actually their home!! They've done an amazing job at transforming part of their house and outdoor terrace into a unique setting with all the comforts of an Italian home. The decor is romantic, soft and intimate. Upon being seating you're brought a basket of fresh homemade focaccia bread, which I might add is hard not to eat the entire basket. (You don't want to stuff yourself the portions for all of the menu items are HUGE!) Most of our table went for the 15 layer Lasagna which was amazing, I've never tasted a sauce SO rich and flavorful! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Every dish is made from scratch from family recipes, with ingredients a imported to insure the integrity of the dish! From Nadia, Teresa and Nadia's Husband Juan you will attended to as if you were at home with their family. To the people who make comments about the cost, please keep in mind the amount of work that goes into making each dish from scratch, no boxed pasta from Wal-Mart just boiled, or pasta sauce from a can. Ingredients imported in all so that it's TRUE Italian dish! If you're from Canada, the prices are comparable to The Keg, which considering what you're getting in fine Italian dining is amazing! We will definitely be going back again and again!

thank you for such a thorough review on our home..We are thrilled you enjoyed our ambience and dining experience . These recipes have been replicated over many years originating by my great grandmother who operated and ran the first Italian restaurant in Winnipeg Manitoba . we are dedicated to finding the most high quality product in order to preserve authenticity . You are correct it is always a balancing act with cost vs price. However with such intense detailed prep work and quality product we guaranteed great satisfaction to the sophisticated palate .. Thanks again and will await your visit. ciao a presto Nadia

“Unexpected find in Punta Mita”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

I had read a few reviews on trip advisor prior to visiting the Four Seasons. The concierge and one of our shuttle drivers also recommended the place. My wife and I left the rest of the family behind and ventured out one night. Looks can be deceiving, as you walk down a pretty rough street towards a dead end. Then on the left hand side you walk towards a place that doesn't look like the others. Teresa greets you at the door and basically welcomes you into her home. We were taken aback by the interior of the place. It was like stepping out of Mexico and into Italy. It opens up to a courtyard in the back so that you are eating outside. My wife and I had a wonderful meal in the corner. Everything was fantastic. The foccacia bread was great. We tried the grilled apple caprese, which was amazing. My wife tried the 15 layer lasagna and I got the gnocchi. Again fantastic. Finished off the night with some homemade tiramisu. We were constantly checked up on my Nadia and Martin to ensure we had a great dinner. At the end of the night, we made a reservation to bring the whole family back. We had the same great experience then as well. My in-laws split the lasagna and both claimed it was the best they had ever had. Everyone else loved what they got as well. It should also be noted that we brought our 3 year old, who they treated like a princess. Nadia walked her around the restaurant before it got too busy so we could enjoy our appetizers. Overall some of the best Italian food I have had (including a trip to Italy a few years back)

“Great Italian”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2014

If you are looking for a change from fish/Mexican food during your stay, this is the place to go. Meatballs were heavenly, as was the eggplant parmesan. The past was very nice, but could have been a little more al dente. Cocktails and wine were great, as was the service.

thank you for taking the time to review us and sharing your lovely compliments . The aldente factor is always a challenge for restaurants that are using fresh handmade pasta and is cooked at moment of order..Individual preferences of aldente varies however on your return visit please advise us of your desire to aldente and we definitely will honour that request so you can enjoy your pasta to the fullest ,,, thanks again and return soon .... “Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014 via mobile

We had a fantastic dinner here on Valentine's Day.. What a great meal..probably the best one we had during our week stay in Punta Mita.
The service was wonderful and so personable. They suggested and guided us thru the menu. It was so delicious.
And the atmosphere was perfect. Romantic, homey, so much character, and warm.

We would recommend this dinner to anyone..and would revisit over and over
