This place was a real treat. After staying at the St Regis and paying top dollar for every meal, it was nice to find a place (outside the gates) that was a bit more reasonable. The cuisine was excellent and the service was top notch.
Guadalupe, the manager, was so nice. She made excellent recommendations and we will definitely come back here on our next visit.
Guacamole to die for! Made fresh at the table
Salsa that was SUPER hot (although we asked them to make it spicy). Also made fresh at the table
Soup Bicolor - this was fantastic!
Chicken Mole - excellent, really moist, tender chicken. Beans and rice were very tasty!
Shrimp Molcajete - by far the signature of this place. Jumbo shrimp spiced and cooked in a stone bowl with cactus, onion, panela cheese, chorizo, and a delicious red sauce. It was to die for. Be sure to order the giant shrimp which are fished locally!
Although we had many fancy meals while in Punta Mita, this was by far our most romantic evening. It was nice to get outside the gates of the St Regis/Four Seasons and the margaritas were more than generous when it came to tequila! The staff here is the best.
