“We want to return! Loved it!”

Our 5 day stay was wonderful. The location and grounds are beautiful. The ocean at our footsteps was spectacular. The March weather was perfect. Our room and butler service were amazing. We rented a car from the airport in Puerto Vallarta and arrived at the resort after a 40 minute drive. We felt safe throughout our stay as well as during our travel outside the resort. We particularly enjoyed visiting the town of Sayulita 16 km away. We will return for another stay in paradise hopefully soon.

Room Tip: All the rooms are wonderful. Upgrades to ocean proximity and suites are available.

From the moment you drive up to these grounds every experience while gentle and relaxing is well attended by friendly and knowledgeable staff. From the valet to the very top management every person is helpful, friendly, efficient, and yet also gives you the space to enjoy your stay at your own pace and in your own way. The grounds are beautiful and the views are vast you feel like you are at the end of the world. The rooms are perfect and fit the Mexican atmosphere and aesthetic and the private outdoor showers are such a treat. We are headed back there this year and for more days because we felt 5 wasn't enough to enjoy this spectacular and relaxing unqiue place.

We visited the St. Regis for the first time this year. If you get upgraded to, or book a suite (even a junior one), you will have a comfortable, extremely relaxing stay. The regular deluxe rooms are not deluxe and look like a bare bones hotel room, with cold tile flooring. That said, we loved the service, views of the beach, and overall attention to details that especially during a spring break trip, are hard to find. There are 2 negatives, though. The first is the food, which I give only 3 stars at best. This is even for the big breakfast buffet and upscale Carolina restaurant. The food looks nice, but the resort has a very bare bones menu, regardless of where you are eating in the resort. Even the minibar has only 2 candy bars--something our kids look forward to on every trip. It seems as if there is no main chef, or anyone who is constantly thinking of creating a wide variety of food for the entire family to enjoy. The limited menu left us feeling hungry in between meals. It is not easy leaving the property. If you go to the hotel next door, it is an $8 cab ride! The town doesn't have much other than a few restaurants. Boat rides cost between $500-900 per family, which seems insane. The prices are also high ($150 per person) for guided bike rides and simple hiking. There isn't a whole lot else to do. If you are looking for a charming, beautiful, peaceful place, I would definitely come here. The service makes me definitely want to return. They just need to work on food and activities...

Room Tip: There are some rooms and suites that have wading pools---these seem nice and are on the ocean side...

Recently shared time there with our family including two college kids and two younger kids. Had lots to do for all. Staff was super friendly and well trained. Made us feel special and all had fun including surfing, swimming and just relaxing by the pools. Thanks to the great staff! Will be back!

We just spent a fabulous week at the St. Regis in Punta Mita. Everyone did everthing possible to make our stay perfect. Our room was ideal with great views, the food was always spot on, the beach was scenic and refreshing, and the ability to request whatever you needed anywhere on the property was as simple as raising your hand.

In particular, our days at the beach were transformed into the ideal setting as Luis Garcia was always at our service and always looking to improve the moment. He takes his job seriously and it made our experience that much better.

Further, Edgar Esparza while behind the bar by the pool or in the front lobby was equally as attentive. No matter the request, and we were not easy, he figured out a solution.

You can find beautiful beaches all over the world, what you cant find is world class service. St. Regis Punta Mita has it all.

So this was our first time in Punta Mita and one of the most amazing and relaxing places we have ever stayed at! The staff the there goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Last night we had an amazing dinner at the Sea breeze bar watching the sunset and Edgar Esparza helped us have a truly exceptional dining experience! We visited the Remede Spa twice during our 4day stay and the massage mani and pedi were amazing! Griselda, Sandra, and Silvia were all great and the atmosphere and service at the spa made for one of the most blissful experiences we have ever had:) Thank you to Michael O'Hara Guest Relations and Spa Director for managing such a wonderful group of people! St Regis Punta Mita is amazing! We will be back this year. See you all soon!!! Oh and another thanks to Humberto for giving me the recipe to that Sangrita and Waldo and Pedro for the paddle boarding lessons! Thank you all so much!

We had never visited Punta Mita having only previously vacationed in Cabo. What an amazing treat! The staff from the moment you check in when you are welcomed with a cocktail is simply incredible. We had a deluxe ocean front suite that was breathtaking. The room and its amenities were wonderful. The hotel is on 22 acres with only 120 guest rooms. So even if they are at 100% capacity you never feel that the resort is crowded. Jose at the pool was wonderful---he came by everyday to give us fresh fruit, clean our sunglasses or frozen fruit flavored popsicles in the afternoon. Omar and Umberto at the pool were terrific. The entire staff is so helpful and so nice. They cant do enough for you. They are so happy that you are there and they truly want you to have the vacation of a lifetime. We went to the bbq on Friday night and loved the experience as it encouraged you to meet some of the other guests and the food is served family style. Highly recommend it as we met several nice guests from all over the world. The GM is present and visible interacting with the guests as he presided over the champagne ritual Friday night. Very nice and personable. The setting of the hotel is perfect and extremely safe as it is situated behind gates. We can not wait to come back. We decided that we prefer it over traveling to Hawaii. The service is definitely over the top. The breakfast buffet is wonderful--a huge selection of food---omelets, eggs, waffles, crepes and lots of fresh fruit etc.

Room Tip: We had an ocean front suite which was magical.
