The food is very authentic mexican and is very tasty, served up by the locals. Coffee is OK served in clay cups that were chipped up a bit. Beer is Cold. I've had breakfast here twice and it was OK. The decor is fun and genuine and reflects the art of the area.

The manager here speaks very good english and is a really nice energetic guy, he is very knowlegable about Tonala.

Rosalba Gutierrez who owns Mexicania referred me to El Rincon del Sol and to have their specialty. It was not only good it was the very best thing I have ever tasted. Wonderful flavors, beautiful presentation, just amazing. You can walk there -- small street

In 2010, we had lunch at this restaurant and the prices on the menu by the door were not what we were charged in the end. It felt like a bait and switch operation. I realize that it was my own look out to have read the fine print but it left a bad taste in the mouth, not being asked for a choice of between the lunch portion or the dinner portion. We assumed it was lunch because we were there for lunch at 1pm!
