This perfect little B&B offers a great escape from the hassles and stresses of everyday life. It gives you a sense of being in some far far away land while allowing you to feel 'right at home' at the same time. Surrounded by charming Mexican streets, the calm waters of Lake Chapala and the green hills of Jalisco, Casa de Flores will automatically pull you into it's relaxed way of life. The accomodations are extremely clean, the staff is highly trained, and you've got everything you would ever need. Plus, the owners are highly dedicated to making your experience unforgettable and hassle-free. The town of Ajijic is a must see, and Casa de Flores makes your visit that much more enjoyable. ENJOY YOUR STAY!

My partner and I are both very well travelled and much prefer the small boutique hotel, home exchange or Bed and Breakfast experience. We both thought Casa de las Flores was absolutely the best accommodation we'd ever come across. Not just the home itself with it's cozy dining terrace and common living room with fireplace, beautiful pool, abundance of foliage, decor, super-comfortable beds and linens, and location --- but it's hosts were fun, friendly and fantastic. From the moment Steve picked us up at the airport, rescuing some stranded travelers in the process, we knew this was going to be a very different experience. Although we felt that Steve may have missed his calling as a stand-up comedian, Steve and Fernando were made for this business. Warm and friendly, service oriented and helpful... and the food -- well the food was exceptional and in abundance. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. All the other guests were wonderful and we fell totally in love with Ajijic - so much so that we ended up buying our own house a few blocks away. We'll be staying with Steve and Fernando again in May when we arrive to close our deal and we'll be recommending Casa de las Flores to all our friends who wish to visit the beautiful village of Ajijic and we look forward to having Steve and Fernando as friends and neighbors for years to come.

If you are looking for wonderful memories, this is the place to stay. My spouse and I were immediately owverwhelmed by the ambience of the decor from the B&B entrance to our impeccable suite. During our nine day visit, we had adequate time to enjoy all of the amenities and the delicious breakfasts to start our day.

We cannot say enough about the hosts, Steve and Fernando, who provided exceptional hospitality and services in a courteous and friendly way. They played a significant role in our decision to make Ajijic our permanent home.

Go ahead; book your reservation right now!

I recently visited a friend who owns a home in Ajijic. As we walked along a street, she said "You must see this B&B". We walked through the front door and were confronted with one of the most charming settings I have ever seen. There is the common living room, so comfortable and relaxing, then a few steps down and you're into the breakfast/lunch space, and as you look through the lush vegetation, a beautiful pool. The smell of orange blossoms stops you in your tracks. Without another thought, we booked lunch for the 2 of us plus another friend who would be arriving a few days later. As it happens the three of us all have our birthdays within 4 days. We arrived a bit early on the appointed day and Steve, one of the owners, suggested we relax beside the pool while he got us glasses of a brilliant white wine. He also showed us one of his room - an absolutely beautifully decorated end room on the ground floor, with it's own private garden. When we went to our table, we had a birthday balloon tied to the table. Lunch for me was a creamy green chili soup with blue cheese. Excellent. Then a Corfu salad - a real Greek salad - very little lettuce, again excellent. My friends had the Aztec soup (which I was invited to taste) and it was the best Aztec soup I had on my entire trip, and believe me I tried a lot. Then to top it all off, a beautiful home-made birthday cake. So although I didn't stay at Casa de las Flores, I feel having eaten there, and seen the rooms, I could do the rating.
If I weren't lucky enough to have a friend with a home there, this is a place where I would definitely stay. Steve and staff went above and beyond, and I know will do the same for you.
