“Beautiful place, Amazing service and Delicious breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2014

Casa Flores embraces you the moment you walk in. It is a beautiful and cozy place. Noe welcomed me with a friendly smile and carried my very heavy lugagge to my room. The room was very clean and comfortable. In the morning he offered me breakfast and basically asked what I wanted and they could make it, the chilaquiles are amazing. You start with fruit and yogurt and a glass of orange juice and coffee. I cannot express how delicious breakfast is. Friends were staying at other B&B's and they were only offered toast and fruit. Casa Flores is very central and you can walk to the malecon and galerias artesanales. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Fernando, but Steve was very friendly and pleasant. Casa Flores will always be my go to place in Ajijic.

Room Tip: I stayed at Mi Cielo, I felt the breeze and when you open the curtains the sunlight brightens the ro...

After a day of driving and shopping until we dropped it was so nice to pull up to Casa Flores and be greeted by Noel, the ever vigilant manager. He helped us get to our room, made sure we had everything we needed and then left us the quite, secluded room. Our room has a wonderful patio that is in the middle of a garden that anyone would love to have. We sat down and enjoyed cocktails while listening to birds. Since it was a Monday night many of the local restaurants were closed but, once again, Noel came to the rescue advising which ones were open and making sure we would have a meal to remember.
..
The comfortable bed made for a great night's rest and we woke up to coffee on the patio again while we got ready for the day ahead. Fernando and Steve, owners, were there for breakfast...wow, what a menu for a B&B. We are used to being told what we are having but they offered a complete variety of both American and Mexican style breakfast. We had a nice visit and then we were off for a day in Tonala and a drive back home.

Our stay at Casa Flores was exceptional! Steve & Fernando and Noel make you feel like you are the only guests they have. They have expanded their breakfast selections...try the banana pancakes with bacon! Truly the spot to stay when you are in Ajijic. Casa Flores is a few blocks from the central garden and all the little nook boutique shops and upscale restaurants. Exceptional!

We really enjoy staying @ Casa Flores last weekend.

Noel, Steve and Fernando are such a wonderful people, they were went beyond to make our stay more than pleasant; we lost our debit card and they offer some money to get by so we did not have to end our weekend short.

Breakfast was really tasty and the fact that you can choose from more than 5 different dishes was great!!!!

Thank you again for all :)

Really thankful with the great hospitality of Noe, Steve & Fernando!! We truly enjoyed our stay, you are so lucky to have such an amazing treasure in the heart of Ajijic! We went for a friend's wedding and everything we needed was there!, we could walk to downtown after having an amazing breakfast with a marvelous view. Whenever you needed some local information Noe was there to assist you and if you're lucky enough he can give you a ride wherever you're going. I loved the different themed suites, it makes it more special!

Room Tip: The first room its amazing!

Casa Flores is a special place, and you feel it the minute you walk through the ornate 18th century wooden doors. The lobby/reception area is an eclectic mix of designer fabrics covering big comfortable furniture to artifacts from all over the world. It feels welcoming, lush and piques your interest all at the same time. To get to your room, you walk along the pool and through a flourishing, private garden of roses, gardenias, and ever-blooming bougainvillea. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and each one has a unique theme and decor. The king-sized beds are comfortable and the sheets have a super high thread count. Everything looks and feels luxurious. Noel is the manager and his smile never stops. He is friendly, knowledgeable and very eager to help in any way that he can. The breakfast menu is extensive and the food is delicious. It is an easy, level walk to the main plaza (about 3 blocks) and to Lake Chapala (about 4 blocks). The very best thing about Casa Flores, however, is its owners. Fernando and Steve have made every effort to imbue their B&B with an atmosphere that combines a genuinely warm welcome with a tranquil setting. You can tell that they truly enjoy meeting new people, and educating them about Ajijic and the surrounding communities. They take pride in their little spot of paradise, as well they should. And, if you have a thing for Irish storytellers, Steve is your man. He is truly delightful! We will definitely be back. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Thanks Steve & Fernando for your awesome hospitality, your breakfast was to die for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The ambience was everything we wanted to find in Ajijic, however your personal attention in providing local knowledge really made the difference. See you in September!
