Roberto's is charming and the variety of food is good. We always enjoy the carrot croquettes while waiting. The garden is beautiful. Roberto features a Fashion Show by architect/designer Alma Gutierrez every few weeks. The food is affordable with home style choices such as liver and onions, Mom's meatloaf, etc. We have shared many happy times there with friends. The waiters are friendly and fun. We find it always reliable.

Not quite sure how one of the most successful and busiest restaurants in Ajijic is ranked number 39 when it should be in the top 5. Indoor and outdoor seating. Smoking and non smoking areas. Tons of ambience. When Bobby is there, it is the best restaurant in the area. When he is not present, everything tends to be uneven. Wonderful sit down Sunday brunches with creative and delicious food. Fair prices. A must stop on any visit to lakeside. Did I mention two for one choice of menu dinners on Friday evenings?

I would describe Roberto's as a good journeyman's restaurant. The Food is consistent, but does not have any Wow Factor...just consistent. The ambiance is nice, good people meet ther all the time, Prices are fair for the fare. IT is going through a change in leadership - from one generation to another - and there are some inconsistencies. Got here and see for yourself...you won't be disappointed, but you won't walk away thinking, "Wow!"

Every Sunday night is Chinese night. There are a couple of other options but mostly Chinese. Good, well prepared meal. Nice atmosphere and good service. One of the petter restaurants in Ajijc! Recommended

Discovered Roberto's in the small lakeside community of Ajijic on Lake Chapala and couldn't believe our good fortune. Large varied menus with gourmet touches and warm, accommodating service on a scenic terrace. The pistachio encrusted sea bass was amazing and the price was right at less than 150 pesos with wine. Haven't been able to bring ourselves to try other restaurants!
