Had heard good things about this place. Walked in on Saterday evening about 6:30 PM, looked at the art work, looked around the restaurant. Three or four people sitting at tables. No one greeted us, no one was visable. Obviously this place is doing so well they don't need any more customers. We left.

La Vina serves one of the only authentic Margaritas around. No mixes here; they are pure and potent. The two young chef, waiter, proprietors do it all and try very hard to please. Having had the ribs, steak, chicken and fish I cast test that their food is fresh and prepared well. A little less sauce on most dishes would probably work. They do a great salad that is huge and entrees are large as well.
The season being what it is this year La Vina deserves our support.

We were looking for something a little different with a little extra and we found it at La Vina. A lovely garden restaurant just off the main road featuring the work of local artists. The sea bass options were incredible, especially owner Memo's grandmother's recipe called the De la abuela. Lots of ambiance, good wine, helpful and friendly service. So glad we found this gem.

We found this place on Sunday night when a lot of the restaurants close or are closed early. It is set in an interior garden. We had wine and salads to start and the salads were full of fresh ingredients with a wonderful vinegar and oil dressing. I had White fish with a Veracruz sauce that was delightful and my boyfriend had Chili Relenos stuffed with cheese and shrimp. Both meals were served with a variety of vegetables including cactas.

Meon & Joel run a great restaurant and is open later than most! Good food. Reasonable pricing.
