We found this place on Sunday night when a lot of the restaurants close or are closed early. It is set in an interior garden. We had wine and salads to start and the salads were full of fresh ingredients with a wonderful vinegar and oil dressing. I had White fish with a Veracruz sauce that was delightful and my boyfriend had Chili Relenos stuffed with cheese and shrimp. Both meals were served with a variety of vegetables including cactas.

Meon & Joel run a great restaurant and is open later than most! Good food. Reasonable pricing.

My meal was fine but overall the menu and location are fairly average in this town with lots of choice. But they serve good choice of wine in nice glasses - the latter a rarity in town.

Good ribs but the art work is eerie and the patio is shabby.

La Viña is a “must visit” restaurant. Like many restaurants in the area, don’t let La Viña’s lack of curb appeal fool you. Inside, you dine in a garden, next to a pond and fountain, surrounded by a gallery of colourful oil paintings. We enjoyed a generous portion of the best coconut shrimp; and on our suggestion, Chef Joel whipped up a delicious dipping sauce. Our soya and sesame encrusted salmon was done to perfection. Memo and Joel, served up a wonderful meal, with excellent service Dinner for two, with wine, was about $37.
