This site has a very interesting history. The hostess has done a wonderful job of renovation, keeping the unusual architecture and enhancing it with wonderfully varied decorative touches in each room. Our bedroom had a charming mix of old and new -
classic Mexican tiles and modern flat screen TV, the most comfortable bed I slept in
while in Mexico, and a great view from our private balcony. The garden has a lovely variety of flowers and plants, and as birdwatchers we loved being able to see them right from our balcony. Breakfast was delicious and nutritious. The central location made it very easy to walk around town to explore the shops and local sights, including Lake Chapala.
