“Not as good as it looks....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2012

Snazzy wine bar with high stools and tables, featuring tapas in the late afternoons and very good seafood paella on Sunday starting at noon. A disappointing wine selection limited to a few mediocre vintages from Spain and South America. Overpriced, partly because the wine comes in a short stemless glass that holds a smaller portion than a regular wine glass.

“Spending over $20US per person and STILL was hungry!! Had better tapas at Costa del Sol!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2011

Too bad that this place is not as good as it looks!!! It has a greet idea, but poor management!! Took for ever for the food and was still starving when we left??? So we ending going over to Number Four across the street!!

I like the place, but it was too expensive for us and for most people here in town!!

Will not go back until they lower the prices in half!!

“Seriously good food in a fun atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2011

I can't believe some of the earlier reviews re: size of portions.....this is a TAPAS place, people!! As in Small Plates.

The prices are MORE THAN FAIR.....we go weekly and we usually order 3 tapas to share. At an average price of 60 pesos per appetizer, that's 180 pesos total; sometimes if we're literally starving, we'll order 4 tapas (and that's always too much food) and still that's only a total tab of 240 pesos...that's currently less than USD 18.50 FOR TWO PEOPLE FOR DINNER!!!

Herb's food is divine; challenging, usually quite healthy, and inventive.

Those expats who miss Olive Garden's endless bowl of spaghetti should return from whence they came.

You either 'get' this sort of food, by having traveled around Spain and/or big city tapas bars in the States, or it's lost on you.

Herb, the owner, is trying hard but the price and portion sizes fall way short.

“Food, Fun and New Friends”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2011

If you want a totally social experience in a totally relaxed environment with a wide array of delicious food and drink this is the weekend spot for you... Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights are rocking on the corner of Donna Guerta (sp) and the 16 of September... It is a serious amount of fun... And a different experience every time you go... Herb has added a breakfast menu on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so you can relax into your morning, visit with friends and linger over french toast with agave syrup or poached eggs on spinach... But best of all - the most fun ever - are the cooking classes that pop up every once in a while... If you get the chance - attend... You will be privy to some of Herb's wonderful culinary secrets, a geography lesson and interesting travel tips. This is a total experience - true that... Don't miss it...
