All six of us thoroughly enjoyed this charming restaurant with excellent food and service. Highly recommend it to anyone driving through Eastern Townships and through Sutton.

“Excellent Place For Lunch”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

We went for a motorcycle ride and stopped in Sutton for lunch. We were a little early but were able to sit outside prior to the restaurant opening. There was a bike race going on during the same time and we were turned away at a different restaurant prior to stopping by L'International (we're glad we were turned away at the other place.)

The mgr/owner read the specials and answered our questions about the menu. (We are from the states and don't speak fluent French.) He was very nice.

One person had pasta, one had salad, one had an omelette and I had the meatloaf. The portions were appropriate and reasonably priced. We all were very happy to find this restaurant and we will definitely visit again.

“Delightfully rustic lunch experience”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

We enjoyed a wonderful Saturday leisurely lunch in this ski resort community. Wide brunch and regular menu selection. All ingredients were fresh. Terrific omelettes, salads, sea bass and wide assortment of fresh garden vegetables not often offered in small Quebec border towns. Nice selection of beer on tap , wines by the glass and top shelf cocktails at reasonable prices. Also received warm fresh rolls...As Vermonters, we often dine at Quebec Eastern Township establishments. This one we will certainly return to soon. Good food, friendly service and value in a warm atmossphere (not obviously apparent from nondescript main street entrance.).

“60th Anniversary Celebration”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

14 of us went for dinner ...ages 2 to 87 and it was the perfect venue for our celebration. We took flowers in advance to decorate the table and they were more than happy to keep them for the afternoon and put them on the table for us when they set it up. Everyone enjoyed their choice of meal. One steak had to go back to be cooked a bit more but other than that all of the food was very good. Leek soup got lots of rave reviews! Went early, 5:30 p.m., so restaurant was not busy yet and our service was 2nd to none. Price very reasonable - with 6 bottles of wine it averaged $50.00 (including generous tip) per person.

“Perfect meal!”
Reviewed February 20, 2011

We were more than impressed with the service and the quality of the food at this establishment! Our server was very thoughtful, courteous and prompt. The menu offered a good variety of choices, all very reasonably priced.
The house salad dressing was delicate yet flavourful, a perfect complement for the fresh greens.
My haddock was pan fried to perfection and was served with colourful and creatively presented vegetables; as well the side of rice was light and flavourful. My husband's duck leg was succulent and perfectly complemented with a subtle orange sauce.
The dessert was an imaginative Belgian sugar pie draped in light cream - too yummy!
The portion sizes were enough that we could enjoy salad, buns, main course, wine and dessert feeling nicely sated, but stuffed.
