This wonderful church sits about 15-20 minutes outside the village of Quebec City -old Quebec area. We went on a tour and were disappointed because we just didn't have enough time there. The "Country Tour" left only 40 minutes to see it - not enough.
The church has been built/rebuilt 5 times and so it does not have the feel of a very old church, though it is ornate and very beautiful. They do have mass in English, just check the times. There is a crypt and another Chapel down below which are worth seeing.
The gift shop offers a ton of great items. You can even buy a little bottle and fill it with holy water. The museum has some very nice pieces in it and takes an hour by itself.
Also, you can take any item and have it blessed.
