This is worth seeing. It's a beautiful, old Church in excellent condition. If you are staying in the city it is a short drive or will need to take a tour bus out (which is what we did). I would recommend visiting it.

Have you been to a church so beautiful you don't want to leave? This is one of them. The front is majestic looking with its twin spires. But don't miss the side and the back. It is massive and imposing as well. Even the front door is impressive. Inside there are stained glass windows everywhere. The altar is awe inspiring. Therer is even an Immaculate Conception Chapel downstairs. Its design is simple yet bold and elegant with a blue and modern theme. There are two smaller chapels in the compound. The Scala Santa (Holy Stairs) has signs in both French and English indicating that "pilgrims ascend on their knees" up the stairs leading to the altar. The Chapelle Commemorative is even smaller and simpler looking. Basilique Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre is located about 30-km east of Quebec City and is well worth a visit.

The Basilica is just very beautiful, and just so huge. Do not miss the main floor as well as the basement. Take time to appreciate the grounds as well. Definitely a do not miss when visiting Quebec city.

It was interesting, wee-preserved, and beautiful. It was well worth while visiting. There's a gift shop, nice restrooms, upstairs and downstairs in the basicilica. You won't be sorry to visit this beautiful site.

The Shrine of Sainte Anne de Beaupre is a beautifully maintained site which repays the time spent there many times over. The Basilica itself, although I can't claim to have visited all of them, must be one of the most magnificent in Canada. It is huge and contains many interesting and beautiful works of art and architectural details. Everything can be enjoyed without cost; even personal blessings!

Washrooms are good, there is a large souvenir shop and a cafeteria. We spent two hours touring the Basilica and grounds.
