“Good hotel with many activities”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2014

Nice hotel directly on a lake.
Most rooms are spread over several buildings. The furthest is about a five minute walk from the main building although they are on a steep hill which may be difficult for some people to get to.It's a one minute drive with easy parking in all areas.
The hotel has several indoor activities:game room,swimming pool,hot tub,sauna,fitness center,restaurant,bar.
Most of the equipment for outdoor activities is included in the price of the room:Skates, snowshoes etc.
There are also snowmobile rentals and dog sled rides available.Plan on reserving early they fill up fast.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Many types of rooms are available.
The buffet breakfast was reasonably priced.

My husband and I went off season to relax for a few days - using time share exchange. Friendly staff, very nice restaurant and great indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. We look forward to going back sometime during the summer months to take advantage of the lovely lake. St. Saveur - only 20 minutes away was a great way to spend the day shopping, walking, having a bite to eat.

After a long day getting through Montreal on Canada's Thanksgiving weekend, it was nice getting to the resort. The resort has many outdoor activities and guided trips. As our stay was short, the trips are only on selected days and we were on our own. Checking for festivals, we found a nearby one having a Country Western weekend. The town was pretty as was the church. The resort has several trails for those who have good legs or try the ATVs or jeeps. We decided not to have the 3 course dinner as it was pricey; but did do breakfast. We made a mistake by not doing the dinner as the breakfast was excellent. We drove around the surrounding area and it would be a nice drive if you don't go to Montreal.

Room Tip: The one bedroom was fine for us. The views on the upper balcony were worth staying there. If you get...

This place is great. We are definitely coming back. Great lookout to the lake and quaint little beach front. The fall colours are amazing. We went on the last day of September and the first couple of days of October. The staff and rooms are great and always impeccably clean. A variety of things to do around the resort which we will do next time and the pool is great.

Nice property that is well located and yet isolated. Fall colors are every where around you and the lake provides activities such as canoeing, kayaking and pedalos. Comfortable unit but somewhat dated. Indoor heated swimming and Jacuzy plus a nice Spa and out door Jacuzies ..... Small work out room and a NICE restaurant and bar. We had a great time. I won in mini putt too !!!

Room Tip: Stay at the units that has no second floor for privacy and peace.

The diversity of offerings of this well-run resort is hard to imagine. The room selection covers every possible need from singles to large families. The units are well spread so you never feel neighbors too close. It's an hour to downtown Montreal and three hours to Quebec City. Very nice restaurant even if only for breakfast before you take off. Had dinner one night and the waiter surprised me with a very nice local red wine. Plenty of activities on site also on this beautiful lake.

We stayed two nights and had two rooms. Reached at about 8.30 at night and the restaurant had shut down however they arranged for a pizza delivery. It is a very pleasant place to stay and there's kayaking pedal boats crazy golf and walking to keep you occupied. The location of the restaurant is wonderful with a view of the lake. A bit pricey for what you get but worth it.
