Owner description: Three fantasy-like buildings made up of approximately 30 000 recycled glass bottles of various colors and sizes, surrounded by beautiful flower gardens. A haven for nature lovers, recyclers and photographers. The late Edouard Arsenault built the structures in the early 80's, spending the last four years of his life in this amazing project - family-run for over twenty-five years. Featured in "Ripley's Believe It or Not" and "1000 Places to see before you die".

“Bottles, bottles and more bottles!”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

This is off the beaten path for some travelers but a nice drive out, for sure. It can be a little pricey for a group of adults for what is there but it is unique and interesting.

“A fun place”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

I really enjoyed this place. The buildings were quirky but well maintained. I love the idea that the guy who built them put so much time and energy into his creations. People in the area helped by saving bottles for him. For me the best part was the beautiful gardens. Definitely worth the lovely drive there if you are staying on the western side of the island. Nice gift shop.

“Bottles Up, No! Bottles Sideways? Yes!”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

This is a cute little stop in the middle of nowhereland. An amazing little exhibit of what one can do with a lot of bottles and plenty of time on their hands. I was surprised that none were broken and or cracked (from extreme cold winters). The gardens are well maintained too!

“An amazing site to visit for the right type of person.”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

if you are the type of person looking for excitement, flash and pizazz this place probably isn't for you. But if you are intrigued by the out of ordinary and frequently visit places off the beaten path then the bottle houses are a perfect fit. The cost may seem high, but the site does need to be staffed and maintained. If you happen to be near the Summerside area this really isn't that far from there, and there is pretty scenery along the coast to enjoy as well.

“Pretty, but pricey”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

I enjoyed the gardens -- there was a lot in bloom in June! The bottle houses were interesting and unique. I thought the site was expensive considering it doesn't take very long to enjoy the site. Washroom was nice and clean. I didn't see any snacks on sale at the site.
