We definitely recommend this B&B. We had a delightful experience for four nights as the guests of Brenda and Ed Dewars. Their home is in-town in Montague, within walking distance of a supermarket, several restaurants (both upscale and fast food), a river walk, a cooperative art gallery and studio, and a museum of local history.
The house is surrounded by an acre of garden, which provides a quiet private setting. The two rooms, one above the other, are isolated from the Dewars quarters by a large common area. Our ground-floor room had a door onto the sunny deck. The information pamphlet in our room gave the background for each of the several pieces of art collected by Brenda and Ed during their overseas careers.
Each morning a delicious breakfast, attractively presented, was served in the dining room. Wonderful conversations about local and international affairs, and local attractions occurred during breakfast and in the evening.
We definitely would stay there again.
