Goodness knows why TA selected these rating gradations!
We had afternoon tea, something the kids had never done. It is a beautiful grand old hotel. The tea itself was quite good, with lots of varieties, and served in a selection of charming cups and saucers. The fruit was very nice, and most of the baked goods were, too. Finger sandwiches were okay. We also go a cheese and meat platter, which disappointed. It may be a Canadian thing but the meats looked Oscar-Mayer-ish to me.
For the price, probably a disappointment. But still had some redeeming qualities and we were glad we went.
