Lots of fun fishing with this typical fishing boat. Took three adult kids with us and joined families with teens and younger kids, all of whom had an exciting time and every single one who caught a fish - the best luck on the boat was had by a boy of about eight years!
First a stop for Mackerel for bait, and we couldn't pull the lines in fast enough. The cod were not quite so plentiful, but enough for everyone to enjoy the thrill of the catch.
No whales, but lovely ocean views and clean sea air. Sunny enough to we warm but cool enough to appreciate a jacket on the trip back in.
Captain was attentive and knowledgeable, even if the first mate was a little... withdrawn, having arrived at work late with most likely a big head from the night before, but the captain made that fun by calling him Gilligan and laughing at his discomfort gutting fish.
