Comfortable clean rooms. Very friendly service and best coffee around. Beautiful pool and unique gift shop. It felt like home away from home. The village of south bay mouth is a wonderful place to visit and we highly recommend it

Arrived at the southern end of the ferry run (Tobermorey) and found all the motels booked. The agent at the ferry desk was incredibly helpful and called a mate in South Baymouth to see if anything was available. This place had a couple rooms, and as it was going to be a 10:30 pm arrival, I booked one.

It is extremely convenient to the ferry (across the street) and one of only a couple places in town so they have a stranglehold on what they can charge. Paid about $120 for a "cottage" that I came to find out has no A/C (none of the rooms do) on an incredibly hot day/evening.

The facility is old-school motel but in OK shape, the clerk was friendly and I settled in for a long, warm night.

Better than sleeping under the stars because the mosquitoes would eat you alive, but still over-priced for the quality of the place. Same goes for the cafe next door where an omelette and coffee cost $20.

Nothing creepy wrong about this place, but if you have the time, I'd try driving another hour north to Espanola since they seem to have more offerings.

Located 100 yards from the Chi-Chimun Ferry dock, this is a convenient facility for an overnight stay prior to an early morning crossing from South Baymouth to Tobermory, Ontario. The property was probably built in the 1950s but has been generally very well maintained, with good beds and clean rooms. The major disadvantage is the lack of either air conditioning or good ventilation. Also ,there is no wi-fi and the TV didn't work.

My wife and I stayed at this motel and paid $125 for one night. This motel is worth about $60 tops.
No continental BF, no A/C, no coffee pot in the room, no shampoo, dirty pool, walls are thin so you get to hear your neigbour's TV till 4:30 AM, mac tac on bathroom window was coming off so if a peeping tom wanted a free viewing of my wife he could have done so. The room smelled like old leather boots that were stored in a basement for the last 10 years - musty.

On the plus side the sheets and the toilet were clean, the shower no so much.

If you like old, smelly, noisy and over priced then this is the place for you.
