We ate there on a Saturday and found it very busy. Had to wait along time for a able on
the patio. Finally we were taken to our table which was tipping and not solid on the patio.
We asked a young waiter if he could try to fix the problem. He seemed confused and did try but to no avail.
It was very busy and we asked for bread which I gather is not automatic, you have to ask.
I did find the wait staff need some training.
all in all the food was reasonable and tasty.
I would return.

These people believe in customer service! Seven members of our family ate here on a busy Saturday evening before a musical performance beginning at 7:30. The reservation was for 5:15, but due to one person being a little ill and having to be a bit late, 4 of the 7 didn't arrive until 6 p.m. The hosts were very gracious, never complained that we were late, and speedily brought our orders so that we could still get to our performance on time. And the food was all delicious. Everyone raved. Unfortunately because we were running late none of us had time for dessert. So kudos to the Gusto chefs and staff. We will definitely have to return another day! And have more time to order and taste the desserts!

It has - we stopped there last week without much optimism, and were really impressed with the new menu. The service still needs improving - the wait staff have no training, making basic waiting errors. However the food has really taken off - can thye keep consistent? We can hope!

Moved to Port Hope 3 years ago, this place was fabulous. Invited family and friends down. They would change their menu with the seasons (that was the great part). Have been there twice in the last year....,.terrible!!!! The menu hasn't changed in ages. The menu and quality has been a huge letdown. We do not take friends and family there any more. What happened?????

We have visited here several times in the past and found the food somewhat boring and uninspired, so we stopped eating here. That was about 1 year ago. Stopped in tonight for dinner, as a last resort, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We had the Scallop appetizer and Beef Tartar appetizer, both were delicious. Then we had the meatball special and chicken parm, again both were fantastic.
We will eat here again!
