“Excellent service, great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

The server was attentive, but not overly so, happy to check if accommodations could be made to menu items, and even clarified if item requested not to be in the food, was an allergy or a dislike, to be safe. Kind to children. Not rushed at all.
In spite of large event going on in another room, the food was prompt and tasty.
When it was mentioned that it was an anniversary, but we were not planning to order dessert, we were presented with a beautiful Happy Anniversary in chocolate writing, along with a couple of chocolate dipped strawberries. Nice touch. We have been before for special occasions and nice dinners, and will go back for sure, with or without children.

“Afternoon Patio Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

Lunch on Lake Joseph in the Summer at Sherwood Inn, what a treat to be out of the office. I joined a colleague on the outdoor lawn patio at Sherwood Inn for a business lunch, we both had the soup, my colleague had the smoked salmon and I the fish & chips (not just any fish, Ontario Perch lightly battered). We also eyed up the smoked bison (smoked on property) from the dinner menu (staff accommodated our request - thanks) which had a little blue cheese crumbled on top, WOW.
A restaurant in cottage country, some reviews on trip adviser slam staff for being un-informed ~ not the case at Sherwood Inn, the summer staff was courteous, articulate the menu items and were attentive to not only our needs but the entire group of customers. Not only was there great rhythm and a sense of calm while the restaurant was getting "slammed" but the General Manager was also present to cater to the customers needs - don't see that too often.
Overall a great experience and would highly recommend it, once my wife reads this she will be asking me to take her in the near future, no problem Laura just same when!

Mouth watering comfort food with a twist for the taste buds! Amazing meals!!!! The Chef has his own herb garden onsite & shows great pride of his work with his incredible menu - there is something to be enjoyed here by all.

“Peacefull setting”

Old Muskoka charm is hidden here. Enjoyed a lunch on what I think was the only rainy day of the summer but the Inn still made is warm.

“Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2012

You feel as if you're in a fine dining establishment here.
My beet salad was good, but beets slightly undercooked.
Apple crumble w/ice cream, was delish, but should have been warmer.
Otherwise, food was very good.
