We went there as a group of six for lunch on the 3rd September. The menu selections athough appearing to sound good were just okay. We all ordered from the offered lunch specials. I had te mini-burrito. It was definitely minin was okay tasting with very little mole sauce. The accompnaying refried beans were balnd with a token amount of cheese on top. Rice was bland and cold. My wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich on sur dough bread but it came on a hogie bun and was very land and quite soggy. The accompanying salad was not crips. Others ordered club sandwiches that again came on hogie buns instead of the promised sour dough bread. Fries were bland mass produced fries that cold be hand cut for the price of these orders. One ordered the "soon to be famous" nachos but they can as advertised with rice - in my opinion an excuse to cheap out on the nachos.
Service was good considering we can in at a shift change. Price was high considerng the poor food quality.
We had previously eaten here before when it as a part of the Mexicali Rose's chain. Were very disappointed then -- worst and cheapest excuse for nachos we ever had. Not much has changed here. They should try and simplify their offerings and just make these better as this could be a great littel restaurant.
