You can have a guided tour or get a booklet for a do it yourself visit/Eclectic and very interesting/ explains history and stories of the area including the last duel in Canada which happened in Perth. Admission by donation. Well worth the 45 minute visit.
Could have spent even more time if I had had the time/ will return again. Young guide very friendly and helpful about the museum and things to do in Perth.

The Perth Museum isn't very big - half a dozen rooms reflecting the lifestyle and accommodation of the last century or two. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions with kindness and interest. I was very pleasantly surprised by the pleasantness of the visit, and would recommend it to all my friends. The entry fee is by donation, so it is very accessible.
