We recently moved to Orangeville and ordered Chinese food from Happiness Buffet after receiving a flyer in the mail. The prices are low, the portions plentiful and staff very happy and helpful.
The problem was in the food. The chicken balls are huge but everyone at our table who tried them said there was an off taste to the meat inside. The wonton soup contained a slice of pork, a piece of broccoli and lots of wontons but lacked flavor. The fried wontons with sweet and sour sauce were very greasy and soft. Each fried wonton was filled with cream cheese?? We ordered Spring Rolls and they too were very greasy and had an off taste. The Cantonese chow mien contained fresh vegetables with a pile of plain white noodles on top, nothing special but it was edible.
Based on our experience we will not return to this restaurant.
