I have been charged for the room even though I have cancelled my phone reservation 30 minutes after it was made. I will be reporting fraud and theft to my bank. And... I agree with user kittyboymoi. The rating of "Terrible" is still to high.

Room Tip: Avoid at any cost

On checking in... they didn't have my reservation even though I had done so by phone & had a confirmation number.
Was promised a newer room... was provided a room from hell... ant traps on the floors, peeling paint, damaged walls, unsafe locks on doors, door opening to hall left a space so that the room could be seen inside from the hall.
2 small pillows on a lousy king bed
no ice machine
no frig in the room

Room Tip: do not stay there

If they ever want to re shoot Pyscho this is a perfect setting for Norman Bates and his machinations.
Below terrible.
Even in Bangladesh this sorry trailer-trash-hostel, posing as motel, would rate one star! The first impression is one of bare bones lobby with an overwhelming smell of stale cigarettes. The motel is supposed to be non smoking but someone should tell the receptionist who had an open pack of cigs on her desk. All reservations in 'da' book were in pencil for easy 'rubbing out'.
The hotel is under renovation and the renovated rooms were shabby, poorly constructed, let alone properly finished. Furniture was over-sized for the room, but then again there is not a lot of choice when shopping at Goodwill. A phone, a box of Kleenex, a stopper for the sink, a little cream and sugar for the coffee machine?.... don't be ridiculous, these items did not figure in the renovation and even the Gideon' s New Testament was missing and they are free!
Some people should not be in the hotelier business and these proprietors should find another mission in their lives. Maybe in this case, septic tank pumping would be their forte, but then again that would be moving up.
There is however, a coffee maker and it is a godsend as there is no hot water. First time in sixty-seven years using a coffee maker for hot shaving water.
When you ask if there is an ice machine, you get the stare as if you asked for the butler.
Beats sleeping in the car but only just.
Should be a TripAdvisor rating of 'Ugh"!

Room Tip: Avoid this motel at all costs. If you have to stay here, make sure you have all your shots.
