“Cute, but don't go out of your way”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

This is just a big statue in the middle of a small park beside the busiest intersection in Campbellford. There are lots of reasons to drive to Campbellford, but this really isn't one of them!
Settle for a glance at it on your way to the WestBen Arts Festival Theatre, the Church Key Brewery or the Empire Cheese Factory, or park your car beside it if you're heading to Capers or the Stinking Rose pub.

“Surprised!”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

We happened upon the toonie unintentionally and were pleasantly surprised to see it! We stopped for a photo and enjoyed the view of the river. The tourist office is right there but the washrooms were closed unfortunately! Its a nice little town!

“Campbellford Is The Home Of The Toonie”
Reviewed December 24, 2011

The Toonie Monument is in a park along the river so it is a very nice setting. The person that submitted the winning design for the Toonie was from Campbellford so it is worth a look.

“27' Tall Toonie”
Reviewed July 15, 2010

The toonie is 27’ tall and 18' in diamter and was erected in recognition of Campbellford artist Brent Townsend who designed the polar bear that was used on the coin. Stop by if you are ever in town.
