We had a lovely two night stay at Huff Estates. What we really liked most was the private vineyard patio. It was May so not quite warm enough to spend a ton of time on the patio. However it was a great option for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine and some cheese in the afternoon. The hotel also arranged a taxi service for evening dining which I thought was a great service. Breakfast was not spectacular but certainly enough to start your day. Huff Estates wine is one my favourites of the area. I'd definitely go back again especially for a summer time stay so we could really enjoy the private patio!!

Stayed at Huff Estates for one night in June as part of a family gathering. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, nicely appointed rooms. Nice breakfast. We enjoyed visiting the gallery and adjacent sculpture garden. Would definitely return.

Recently used a Jaunt.ca special to stay two nights at this Inn and Winery. Winetasting and tour was included and was nicelly done. The Inn itself is modern with a cheery breakfast room for the included self-serve continental breakfast. The food was bought at local grocery store-no homemade muffins here and if one came towards the end-all fruit was gone and not replenished. The rooms themselves are lovely and have a very nice fairly private patio that would have been great to use-but we had rain and cold weather. The beds and bedding were of good quality and my only complaint was that the small TV was very difficult to see as it was mounted very far from the bed. Staff were friendly and they were working on enclosing their luncheon area so it was not available to use. A nice homebase to tour the area.

We booked our one night stay through the Jaunt voucher May 6 to 7. We had a wine tasting the day of May 6 which was great as we tried PEC Cuvee Peter F. Huff; two chardonnays (one was oaked); two merlots (one also oaked); and two dessert wines. They were all very good, especially the Peter Huff sparkling.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for places to eat in the area (Bloomfield, Picton, Wellington).

Our room looked to the interior courtyard with the water feature. After our wine tasting, we sat outside on our room's patio and had something to eat. Very relaxing! Our room had a high ceiling, a king size bed, which was sumptuous with the pillow topper and lots of pillows. We borrowed a free (!) DVD from the front desk and watched in bed. It was so quiet and peaceful. We had such a good night's sleep! The room and bathroom were both spacious (we may have had the wheelchair accessible room #6).

Breakfast was great with lots of choices: fresh fruit (pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, oranges); cold cereal, waffles (you make yourself), wraps-a-go-go with tortilla stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheese); yogourt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, croissants, danishes, scones, bread, coffee, juice. It was really spectacular.

We would definitely stay here again!

We statyed here the end of Feb 2012 and enjoyed every minute. The front desk staff treated you special as soon as you arrived. They made you feel like you were a guest in their house. The room we were given was gorgeous...we loved the king size bed. We'd like to return in the summer to take advantage of the patio and grounds. The complimentary wine tastings at Huff Vineyards were a nice touch. We went into Picton on Saturday night came back to the hotel and wanted some coffee. The night staff put on a fresh pot for us, showed us where all the coffee cups, cream, sugar, etc. were and made sure we had everything. The complimentary breakfast on Sunday morning was fantastic; they had a great selection and you didn't leave hungry. All in all the staff here made the weekend fantastic. I highly recommend Huff Estates; you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: All the rooms are on the same level and they have theme rooms. I don't think their is a bad room...

The rooms exceeded our expectations. I expected more of a standard hotel look to them, given the ultra-modern look from the outside, but they were far better. High ceilings, very comfortable beds, beautiful washroom area. Because they are all on the ground level, each room has a walkout to an individual deck area. We had a package that included a tour of the winery which was great.

Restaurant area was very open and offered a nice buffet style breakfast. Not a 'fine dining' area but good for a quick breakfast. Only strange thing is we walked through the kitchen galley area to go our room.

Only downside is it is still a 15-20min drive to Picton which is where we went for dinner.

Room Tip: We overlooked the inner court yard, which was fine, but if you go get the rooms overlooking the vine...

My wife and I spent two nights with an aunt and uncle (i.e. 2 nights, 2 rooms) as a package and it was a perfect stop on a short motor trip. The property is clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. We attended a wine tasting and they provided complimentary taxi service one night to a Picton restaurant (Blumen - highly recommended! for dinner). The second night we dined at the Waring House which was a lovely site but the food mediocre.
