We have been here as a couple, with friends and with family. The grilled cheese sandwiches were delicious and inventive. Service was always good. Stop in, have lunch and then go next door to Slickers and indulge yourself in the best homemade icecream ever.

Just had a quick stop in the cheese cave and take away! We tasted, as well as bought a good amount of cheese. Lots of options, at great prices! Also freshly baked baguette was super tasty... bought some terrines as well!
Yum yum yum!

We came here expecting something a little different and different is what we got! The food was good, the preserves were tasty but it was a little pricey. We will definitely be back to enjoy a meal and the live music on a Friday night.

Happened in on a Sunday and were seated with a drink before we were told it was a brunch only menu. There were a few items carried over from the regular menu, but most were breakfast type. I had a bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon served with baby greens. The bagel was toasted and the cream cheese was spread on hot, so it was runny. There were maybe 12 leaves of greens on the plate (some rotten) and some very fresh beautiful smoked salmon. There were no capers, onion, lemon, dill, parsley ... in fact it looked very ordinary for $12. My partner ordered Eggs Benedict $12 and it was served on a plate without a garnish, or greens or anything ... it looked very lonely but, he said it was darned good.

All in all, it was just OK. Such potential, but hovering around 'average' for the moment.

3 delicious soup de jour; grilled cheese; fries; coffee: $41 :-(
Wanting to support local fare all the way, since we had never been there. Food was alright, staff were good, decor is roadhouse ...so where does the price come from! Sorry, but I can't justify a return visit. Hope you find enough supporters to make it work for you.
