Safari Grill was the perfect place for 5 couples to enjoy a nice dinner and catch up with one another. Friends since High School it was nice to find a place to accomodate us, not rush us out the door, and where we could actually carry on a conversation that wasn't drowned out by loud music or other conversations. The food was amazing and the service stellar.

Just returned from lunch where my wife and I shared a Chicken Wrap and a Spinach & Goat Cheese dip.
The wrap, which was supposed to be Guacamole and Cheddar came with some kind of dark brown sauce (I'm guessing bad guac) and smelled of something femented. I'm thinking the chicken was off as well.
Servive was 'adiquate' at best.
Have been in the past, but will never return.

This restaurant/bar has a great patio for the summer. The food is good for a neighbourhood restaurant. Staff are pleasant.

Food is OK, but good selection of beer, especially if you like Mill St. Nice patio, but the place gets very busy on the weekends. We were pressured by the staff to get off the patio once for a big reservation, even though we had booked some seats.

We enjoyed the 3 course Durham Savour the Season dinner last evening. The maple squash soup and the apple pear bruschetta were delicious starters. The four of us enjoyed the pork tenderloin, with apple slaw and jalapeño corn bread and the trout with harvest veggies and lemon rice. Two of the dessert choices we indulged in we're peach cobbler cheesecake and a yummy apple crumble tart. The VQA wine pairings with each selection were a nice touch. The atmosphere is casual and lively. The service was attentive and overall we had a fun evening.
