I had stayed here several years ago. Luckily there were new owners! Scott and Elke provide a wonderful experience. The room and private bathroom are great. Clean and comfortable in all respects. The breakfast was delicious and Scott and Selke were interesting, relaxed and hospitable people who made me feel at home. I can recommend their place without any hesitation.

We stayed a couple of days on this bed and breakfast run by Scott and Elke. It's a nice old house with a feeling of luxury, just on the main street of Mahone Bay (so you don't have to walk a lot to reach shops and pub's). Breakfast are more then generous and the rooms are spacious.

The room with the private bathroom was excellent - firm comfortable bed, roomy, large bathroom, own thermostat. Just slight musty smell but that is to be expected for an older house like this. Breakfast was exceptional - Scott & Elka were wonderful hosts & cooks. Warm nutritious muffins, fruit smoothy, great selection of local fruit juices, tasty omlette with 3 kinds of toasted breads & coffee. Everything presented with flair! Certainly we recommend this bed & breakfast.

Room Tip: Realize that a private bathroom may not be an "en suite" bathroom so you may have to wande...

This B&B has everything we look for in a B&B. The location was great. Literally seconds away from fine dining (highly recommend Valintinos ), coffee shop, grocery store, shopping, spa. The historical house is spacious, bright, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious . Homemade breads and muffins, fresh fruit cocktail, omelettes to die for. We were so full we could not eat again till late afternoon!
This is a great spot in a beautiful little town.

Room Tip: We had our choice of rooms as it was a Monday in early May so we were the only guests. All of the ro...

we recently stayed at the Mahone Bay B&B NS & would recommend you stay, Scott & Elka with their wonderful dog were so nice, & the breakfast was certainly worth getting out of bed for, both mornings were a treat. It is in the heart of the bay so you do not need to drive anywhere a perfect location. The only downside is that this time of year everything closes early so if your a night owl go in the summer. We only ate at the mug & Anchor & the food was very good.

A friend and I stayed for 2 nights at the Mahone Bay B&B. The B&B's location is excellent within the town and you can walk to all the local shops and eateries. The hosts, Scott & Elka and their ambasadog Mirah were friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was abundant - the coffee was amazing Elke blends the coffee and it was one of the best cups I have ever had. Our room was very comfortable and clean - the overall feel of the home was relaxing and well appointed. Would happly return!

Four of us stayed at eight B&Bs during our trip to the Maritime Provinces, and the Mohone Bay B&B was by far the best B&B we stayed in on our trip. We compared / rated innkeepers, bedrooms, common areas, breakfasts, and location. Our stay lasted four days, and each breakfast was better than the last one. The innkeepers were always there to help when needed, and to offer advice about the area, but they weren't intrusive. The rooms were spacious and the common areas were very comfortable. The porch and porch furniture were great places to relax and enjoy the late afternoons. The location of the B&B was in the center of town, and within walking distance to several good restaurants and shopping.
