This is a wonderful peaceful spot, with a fabulous view of the Atlantic. Your hosts Anne Marie and Dave are the best. The food is amazing, and very reasonably priced. Great value for the money. The resident dogs Emmy Lou and Beaufort make the stay that much more enjoyable. Great place to get away and just veg.

It was challenging to find this inn, which is not really in Larry's River, but at Charlos Cove! But it was worth a bit of confusion for us. We stayed here on the last night of our two-week Nova Scotia B&B tour, and this was truly the most beautiful location of all. We had the Grand Mariner room upstairs in the annex, and got to watch a gorgeous sunrise through a bit of fog from the porch outside the room. View from the dining room in the main building was gorgeous, too. Dave sauteed scallops in a lovely sauce for me for dinner --- excellent. Breakfast was delicious, too, and we enjoyed conversation with another guest from China. Thanks to Dave and Ann Marie.

The restaurant has a very European feel to it. Small dining room. Excellent chef/owner. We enjoyed dinner with fresh scallops. The fishermen who dove and harvested the scallops that day were sitting at the table next to us. The service and food was excellent. Asked for wine choice advice and got an excellent glass with my meal. The room was comfortable with comfey beds. We enjoyed Beaufort and Emmi the dogs. Breakfast was great. My husband who slept through the breakfast time thought he would not eat, however the owner made an exception and cooked him a great lobster/egg breakfast. We enjoyed visiting with the owners. Would love to stay there again.

Room Tip: There are 2 rooms with access from the lobby and 2 rooms with outdoor access. The outdoor access ro...

We have been enjoying this site for many years. The drive to the area is interesting. The facilities have improved over the years. The meals are excellent with a great view from the compact dining room.

Room Tip: We have always enjoyed the rooms in the Land's End building. The wifi signal is intermittent for...

and that was just the ones we could see from our bed! This B&B already has a trillion stars awarded (justly) by other reviewers. I agree with everything written about Anne Marie, Dave, the dogs and Sea Wind Landing. It is a magical place tucked away from the world.

Our room was in the annex with a huge porch overlooking the ocean. It was large and comfortably furnished. Even the bathroom had two handy shelves where we could each unload our own cosemetics, meds, etc....didn't have to share space!

The ONLY thing I missed was a coffeemaker in the room. Dave had coffee ready early in the main house, but I longed to have steaming cup of coffee in my robe on my private porch gazing at the sun coming up over the water. The fabulous breakfast soothed the hurt, but I still think a coffeemaker is called for.

I cannot wait to send friends an family to visit beautiful Nova Scotia and the Sea Wind Landing!

Dear Nancy,

Thanks so much for the lovely and thoughtful review. We too love the stars and the wonderful view our remote little location provides.

We have struggled with the coffee maker issue for some time and hope to have something in place for next season. Failing that, we'll be sure to deliver steaming hot coffee to your door just in time for you to enjoy the morning sunrise!!!

Thanks again for the note and we look forward to your return.

Dave and Ann Marie
